High Content Screening Services ​in Proliferating Hepatocytes 

Dose dependent evaluation of compound toxicity in 2D cultures of E6/E7    Hepatocytes from European, Hispanic or Asian genetic backgrounds. Our initial screen determines the TC   value of the compound and gross morphology. Follow up assay provides quantitative statistical evaluation of steatosis, phospholipidosis, cholestasis, apoptosis and necrosis determining the induced Adverse Outcome Pathway (AOP).



Finally, we can provide qRT-PCR analysis of CYP3A4, 1A2, and 2B6 induction following 72 hours of exposure, using 3 independent lines.

Dynamic Functional Analysis Using Next Generation Organ-on-Chip

Real time assessment of metabolic function in 3D vascular liver tissues showing metabolic zonation. Our screen determines the EC   value of the compound over 24 hrs to determine Time to Onset (TTO) providing mechanistic information. Subsequently, we expose our tissues to compounds for 1 to 28 days, determining a No Observed Effect Level (NOEL). 



Finally, we provide risk analysis charting the metabolic pathways, ATP production and carbon utilization to evaluate risk for idiosyncratic damage.
