Prof Yaakov Nahmias, Founder & CSO

Prof. Nahmias is director of the Grass Center for Bioengineering at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a magna cum laude graduate of The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, did his PhD at the University of Minnesota and his postdoc at Harvard Medical School. Nahmias is a recipient of a National Institute of Health (NIH) career award, two European Research Council (ERC) grants, the Rappaport Prize for Biomedical Sciences, the Rosetrees Trust Prize for Interdisciplinary Science, and the Kaye Innovation Award. Nahmias is a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) and the British Royal Society of Medicine. He is an internationally recognized expert in tissue engineering and nanotechnology, and entrepreneur whose work established the first 3D cell printing and the first organ on chip technology on the market (HuREL). 

Michal Haimov, COO

Michal Haimov Esq. joined Tissue Dynamics on in 2017 with over a decade of experience in contracts and legal consulting for the biotechnology industry. She is a United States certified attorney with a degree in life sciences, that interned in Shibolet & Co. one of the largest commercial law firms in Israel. Michal brings her extensive experience in contracts and commerce law to Tissue Dynamics.

Dr. Muneef Ayyash, Head of Product Development

Dr. Ayyash is a recognized expert in cell biology whose work elucidated important signaling pathways in pluripotent stem cells. Prior to joining Tissue Dynamics he was a senior research scientist at the laboratory of Prof. Jacob (Yaqub) Hanna at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Dr. Ayyash received his PhD degree in Biological Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and did his postdoctoral training in the Department of Immunology of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the laboratory of Prof. Yinon Ben Neriah. Ayyash brings his extensive skills in stem cell biology and immunology to head Tissue Dynamics product development team.
